There's Food! " Because nutrition is important to us, we prepare menus using fresh fruits, vegetables and meats from Farmer's Markets, a private garden, and local grocery stores. We serve foods that are tasty, rich in vitamins and visually appetizing. 

There's Fun! A life of too much to do can become a life of not enough to do. Not here! Enter conversations, bring your favourite music, movies and enjoy with others. Take a walk or be accompanied. Delight in nature and the sounds of the outdoors. Guided activities and games are planned. Your personal hobbies are encouraged. Our companions appreciate going through family albums, reading books, playing the piano and listening to stories. We sit next to you, hold your hand, and are a calming presence when needed. We help you feel right at home.

Health matters! And it can be tiring for the untrained to keep track of medication schedules and be vigilant about physical changes. We do it for you -medication reminders, prescription reordering, delivery and coordination of medical on-site care.
We immediately report any significant changes and request appropriate medical attention. Physician and nursing care are available at family request.

At Safe Haven, you get to choose how to spend a day. Rise early or late, be active or quiet. People are not left in their rooms, but encouraged to join the family. We come to know each person. If someone doesn't seem like their usual self or refuses a meal, our companions are aware. medication and health conditions are monitored and information is transferred seamlessly. Caring, certified caregivers deliver people-centred, hand-on care.
